After attending a wedding of Mateja and Fabian in Rogoznica two years ago, Jessica and Bernard were impressed with my photography skills. Two years later, I received an invitation to Switzerland to capture their special day. Excited for the opportunity, I gladly accepted the challenge of destination wedding photography. Jessica, Bernard and I quickly finalized the details for their wedding.
As the day approached, we flew from Split to Basel, where we were warmly welcomed by Bernard’s best man, Fabian. On the wedding day, the unusually sunny weather in Switzerland set the perfect backdrop for the festivities.
The day began with capturing Jessica stunning make-up and hair preparations at “Daniela’s beauty”, followed by documenting Bernard and Fabian’s final moments before the ceremony at their hotel. Once everyone was ready, we made our way to the church, where eager family and guests awaited the couple’s union.
The wedding ceremony was filled with joy and love, culminating in a beautiful moment as Jessica and Bernard released white doves symbolizing their eternal commitment. The evening celebrations continued at a charming wedding hall, with guests dancing and celebrating late into the night.
Despite the rainy weather the following day, we seized a break in the clouds just before sunset to capture some breathtaking post-rain photos. The entire experience in Switzerland was a testament to love, happiness, and the beauty of capturing unforgettable moments through photography.
